We are a year-round Holistic Beach Volleyball Club in the East Bay Area ready to help you level up your skills and athletic performance!

Athletes may come to as many practices as they'd like, no set commitment needed at this point, no partner — no problem! Practices are 2 hours long and we are currently at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. Pricing options below.

I’m a certified personal trainer, pain-free performance and nutrition coach with 24+ years of competitive volleyball experience. I’ve created a well rounded program that is designed to support peak performance and overall health for our athletes- with emphasis in putting the athletes health and wellness above all. I collaborate with each athlete and provide a full training program tailored to their individual wants and needs. They will be given access to an app that has all the things they need to execute their workouts properly and effectively. Bi-weekly group nutrition calls are included so our athletes can learn and become empowered in proper nutrition. It’s important for their longevity and sports performance that they learn now— how to make good choices in their movement and recovery practices and in nutrition.

Active KNK BEACH CLUB players and parents receive a 15% discount on any group fitness class offerings- includes drop-ins and packages. Check out the tab Group Fitness for more information on those classes and pricing.

There are many pillars needed to keep our athletes healthy, strong and capable of playing to their best ability throughout their youth, and beyond if they choose. They need to know how to address body aches and pains when they pop up, rather than just playing through them until something breaks, tears, etc. With the knowledge and experience I have as a certified personal trainer and pain free performance specialist I plan to teach them how, all while helping them working towards optimal performance while simultaneously improving our beach volleyball skills.

Working to keep our athletes happy, mentally/physically stable and strong with minimal set backs and injuries as possible is a huge priority. One training day will consist of exercises that will yield adaptations in strength and power while the other will be focused around active mobility and foundational strength. Knowing the why, when and how in regards to training and sport is important and unfortunately not taught well like it should. Having a solid, scientifically based training program combined with beach volleyball practice will make a difference in the way our athletes show up, perform and recover. I wish there was a program like this when I was in grade school. I went through so much unnecessary pain and suffering between the ages of 17-28. I have addressed these things myself through my personal fitness journey and since sought out to help others. Our athletes do not need to go down these unnecessary paths, they deserve to be treated as if they need and want to use their bodies for the rest of their lives, with minimal pain and suffering. I found and still find I play much better now at 36, with way less discomfort and pain than when I was 17/18. My experience doesn’t have to be theirs. This is in big part why I’m starting this and bringing strength training, nutrition and recovery into my beach volleyball program.
